A Place Before Answers

There is a place for those who have
Finally let go of “why”
For those who dare to look beyond
What’s visible to the eye.

There is a place for the restless soul
For the weary, longing heart
Where something quieter begins to speak
And the ego falls apart.

There is a place where dreams are born
Long before they reach our mind
Where sea and sky have never learned
That they’re not intertwined.

There is a place where words have lost
The power to lead astray
Where reason ceased to serve its term
And logic has given way.

A place untouched by certainty
Where things don’t have a name
Where silent wonder invites you in
And gently quiets shame.

Before you enter, ask yourself
Are you willing to let go
Of what you’ve built and achieved
Of what you think you know?

Are you willing to feel small
A lone particle in this vast space?
Let only wonder guide your way
In silence, into this place.

Into the place before the word
Before the unformed thought
Where your heart hums to its own tune
Needing nothing to be taught.

For it matters not how much we know
Nor all that we can prove
But whether something deep within
Still calls on us to move.
